새로운 학기가 시작되었다 - 교육사회학 Sociology of Education

새로운 학기가 시작되었다. 2주 째다. 지난주 수업 때는 수업에 대한 설명과 시험, 과제에 대한 질문이 이어졌다. 이번 주에는 진도가 나가고 있다. 새로운 내용이 너무 많이 들어와서 조금이라도 기록해두고자 글을 쓴다.

 

이번 학기에는 교육 사회학 수업을 두 개나 듣는다. 학부 때는 교육사회학 수업이 따로 없었다. 사회구조 분석 수업을 들으며 교육사회학 전반적인 내용을 배웠다. 학사 논문을 쓰면서 교육사회학을 더 깊게 공부했다. 

 

석사 때는 교육사회학을 연구하는 교수님(Dozentin)이 계셔서 그 수업을 듣기로 했다. 석사 수업은 학부 때 배웠던 교육사회학의 기본적인 내용과 학사 논문 쓰며 논문과 책을 읽으며 배웠던 교육사회학보다 훨씬 더 깊이 들어간다. 교육사회학 첫 수업부터 새로 배우는 용어와 개념이 많다. 학부 때는 독일어로 수업을 들었고 이번 수업은 영어로 들으니 독일어를 영어로 바꾸는 시간도 필요한 것 같다.
